Click "Apply" on our Careers page and fill out the application form if you would like to work with us. We recommend adding yourself to our email list as well. Once we have a potential job that suits your experience, we will reach out to you via email, call, or text to see if you would be interested in interviewing with a family. If the family decides that you would be a good fit, then we will complete our background check and confirm placement with the family. We notify you once the placement has been finalized for you and the family to work together. 

How do I apply to work for Baby Love?

Nannies are paid directly by families that they are placed with. Nannies establish their own hourly rates based on their experience, qualifications, and scope of services. Consistent with our high standards, we typically partner with professionals who charge a minimum of $35+ per hour for nannying and $40+ per hour for overnight care.

How much will I make as a Caregiver?

Baby Love caregivers that are chosen by families and often the best fit are those with basic training (CPR, First Aid), and additional training and certifications in newborn care (such as Newborn Care Solutions training). Caregivers with more experience and those that display a high level of professionalism are more likely to be suited to a family. Additionally, the more availability and flexibility that a caregiver has to offer the more likely they are to be suited with families of various needs. 

What is the likelihood of being placed with a family?

Except in limited and specific circumstances, nannies are typically classified as W-2 household employees. As such, families are responsible for employing the caregiver in compliance with applicable employment laws, including withholding and remitting payroll taxes, as well as providing required benefits such as overtime pay and sick leave. Additionally, it is customary to offer benefits such as paid time off, and either health benefits or a monthly healthcare stipend.

We require families to book a minimum of a 3 month period contract to cultivate a sense of commitment and predictability for caregivers so that they can plan their next contract or communicate with the family in advance about a contract extension if the placement is a good fit.

If you recommend a caregiver to our agency, make sure to tell the caregiver to tell us that you referred them. If we complete onboarding that caregiver, we will give you a $1,000 referral bonus directly deposited within 30 business days after they complete their first placement. 

For a FIVE STAR Google review you can earn $200, and for a FIVE STAR Google & Yelp review you can earn $300, directly deposited within 30 business days.
