Our top caregivers are booking 9 months in advance with returning families that have just discovered they are pregnant. The sooner you reach out to connect with Baby Love on what kind of caregiver you are looking for, the more opportunities you will have for prestigious Newborn Care Specialists, Night Nannies, Nannies, and Postpartum Doulas to choose from when the baby arrives.

How far in advance should we book?

There is a $300 Search Initiation Fee, and then a 15% placement fee of the caregivers gross contract compensation throughout the contracted period.

How much does a placement cost?

Postpartum doulas charge between $35-$75 per day, usually with a package minimum. 

Night Nannies charge between $40-$60 per hour a night, usually with a 10-hour shift minimum. 

Day Nannies charge between $30-$50 per hour a day, usually with a 4-hour shift minimum.

If a family has employed the nanny legally and has met their contract agreements by Baby Love, Baby Love will work diligently to help the family find a better fitting replacement immediately. We will work for up to 45 days to help the family find a better fit that they are satisfied with.

A Night Nanny is an experienced professional who primarily focuses on overnight infant care so that parents can rest. They are experience-based rather than officially certified, but often have CPR/First Aid and other education or certifications.

 A Certified Newborn Specialist is a professionally trained infant care provider specializing in the newborn stage, usually offering overnight care. They have specialized newborn care education including infant sleep knowledge, feeding knowledge, multiples, and babies with medical needs. They are often certified in CPR/First Aid, Newborn care programs, care for multiples, and lactation basics.
